  • NASA MODIS – DBRS collected imagery from the Moderate-Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) instruments on NASA’s Terra and Aqua satellites. Coverage includes Texas and the surrounding region and the Gulf of Mexico available for download in GIS-ready composites: Bands 1,4,3 (visible color) and Bands 7,2,1 (shortwave infrared/near infrared/visible color).

The MAGIC program operates a direct broadcast receiving system (DBRS) to collect sensor data in real-time from overpassing satellites that cover Texas and surrounding regions. Satellite imagery and other science data include DBRS products from NASA Terra and Aqua MODIS and NOAA Polar Orbiter AVHRR (Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer) sensors.
