Dear Colleagues – It gives me great pleasure to inform you that Prof Lori Magruder, Associate Director at CSR, and Associate Professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering & Engineering Mechanics of the Cockrell School (https://www.ae.utexas.edu/people/faculty/faculty-directory/magruder) shall be the Interim Director of CSR from Jan 15, 2023 until Aug 31, 2023. All my responsibilities as the Center Director are delegated to her for this duration.
Those of you that know her already recognize her scholarship, diversity of research portfolio, and incredible energy and communication skills. I am convinced that in these 8 months, she will propel us to the future at ever greater rates.
Please join me in supporting her work for the wellbeing of CSR, ASE/EM, and UT Austin.
