The effects of Tropical Storm Francis on Rollover Pass, Texas can be seen in the
figure below. LIDAR data were acquired along the Texas coast prior to and
immediately after Tropical Storm Francis. The red line in the bottom
figure depicts the September 17 shoreline after the storm and compared to the
August 6 shoreline (shown as black). A large amount of beach was washed
away due to this storm.
