Work Stuff
I have been with CSR since 1990. My area of research is in the application of remotely sensed data for primarily studying vegetated surfaces using optical imagery and lidar. Specifically, I work on software to extract both topographic and biophysical information from airborne and satellite based lidar data. The research for my master's thesis was focused on the use of EO-1 data for landcover mapping in the Okavango Delta, Botswana. My dissertation research is aimed at examining the impacts of interacting disturbance regimes on vegeation structure using remotely sensed data. For more information about the projects I am involved with at CSR, please see
