Work Stuff
I have been with CSR since 1990.
My area of research is in the application of remotely sensed
data for primarily studying vegetated surfaces using optical imagery and lidar. Specifically, I work on software to extract both topographic and biophysical information from airborne and satellite based lidar data.
The research for my master's thesis was focused on the use of EO-1 data for landcover mapping in the Okavango Delta, Botswana. My dissertation research is aimed at examining the impacts of interacting disturbance regimes on vegeation structure using remotely sensed data.
