Research Interests

Mr. Fort is Special Projects Manager of the Texas Space Grant Consortium. He designs and leads cross-disciplinary education programs in microgravity research, Mars mission planning and design, NASA customer engagement, remote sensing, and space policy analysis.

Among the specific projects currently managed by Mr. Fort are:

Mr. Fort is Co-Founder and Executive Director of The Foundation for Space Exploration. He is a Senior Member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and a Member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
