Dr. Jianli Chen

Jianli Chen, Ph.D.
Senior Research Scientist

Research Interests

Dr. Chen's main research interests focus on the understanding of global mass and angular momentum exchanges within the Earth system and their impacts on sea level change, Earth rotation, geocenter motion, and time-varying gravity. He is also interested in using space geodetic observations (Earth rotation, gravitational variation, etc.), remote sensing data, in situ measurements, and numerical models to study water mass redistribution between the atmosphere, land, and hydrosphere and its influences on climatological and hydrological changes.
