Work
Dr. Abusali's research interests are precise orbit determination of satellites and their application to geodesy, geodynamics and oceanography. His work during the past several years has been related to GPS satellite orbits and their applications to differential positioning and autonomous navigation. His current work involves development of Kalman filter for planetary entry vehicle.
Awards
Dr. Abusali is a recipient of Group achievement awards from NASA for GPS related experiments and precision orbit determination efforts of altimetric satellites.
